Hot Air Generating Furnace
Our hot air generating furnace “HIMEC” features compact design, wide range of heat-load capacity (20 to 100MJ/m³/h).
These characteristics are realized by combustion technology for gas turbine combustors, developed by our experiences.
In addition to the above, thin air layer wall made by inner wall enables stable low temperature, approx. 500°C or lower.
Features
- Rapid heating and cooling is possible.
Since no refractory is used, rapid heating/cooling is possible.
Thus, frequent repetition of "operation mode" and "non-operation mode" is applicable.
Furthermore, deterioration trouble caused by spalling and/or exfoliation does not occur in assembly, due to no refractory use.
- Quick temperature response
The performance of temperature response is excellent, then temperature can be returned to specified level.
Even in abrupt load fluctuation, small amount of heat accumulation results in the above.
- Low contaminant level
Since refractory is not used, hot air does not contain dusts caused by refractory.
- Light weight and small size
Compact design of this system enables flexible installation.
Furthermore, minimized site construction work can be realized by pre-assembling at shop.
- Fuel type
The system can use a fuel other than special low-calorie gas.
- Hot air temperature
The temperature of generated hot air reaches 1,000°C.
Applications
- Drying high-purity powders such as ceramic, white carbon
- Heating flue gas for desulfurization and denitrification
- Drying food, chemicals, etc.
- Using as start-up heating medium for various types of equipment (fluidized bed furnace, fuel cell, etc)
- Using as heat source for various type of drying facilities
